Almovi reinforces its position as a supplier of used equipment
01-06-2023
In recent years, Almovi has increased its investment in the purchase and sale of used equipment, having gained the trust of several Portuguese companies that are a reference in their sectors.
From construction to port management, passing through industry and municipal management, Almovi has reinforced its position as a supplier of excellent used equipment, managing to respond to demand quickly and effectively.
Recently, it supplied a Grove GMK3050 mobile crane (image) to a prominent client in the construction sector – PreOeste. It is a 50-ton crane manufactured in 2002. Almovi's technical team carried out a complete overhaul of the machine, which was delivered certified in accordance with Law Decree 50/2005.
According to the managing director of Almovi – Manuel Arriaga - the commitment to the purchase, sale and rental area with the option to purchase used equipment was the natural result of the combination of three factors:
“On the one hand, we are well aware of the needs of our customers in different sectors of activity – what they are looking for, what features they most value in equipment and how much they are willing to invest;
On the other hand, we are up to date with the overall machinery market - which gives us a clear view of the companies that make up the ecosystem of the 'global park' of lifting equipment in the different states of life, both on the supply side as of demand;
Finally, we have more than 30 years of experience in machine maintenance, repair, reconditioning and certification. The fact that these activities are completely rooted in Almovi's DNA allows us to be the key to adapting the offer to the demand and, above all, supplying used equipment with complete confidence.”
All used machines sold by Almovi are checked by an excellent technical team and, depending on the buyers' needs, can also be adapted, reconditioned and/or painted.
In the last two years, the family business has seen a considerable increase in the supply and delivery of second-hand equipment, which for Manuel Arriaga “is a strong indicator of the satisfaction of our customers.”
